- If you create a character and skip the tutorial, the Hooded Figure will not appear to you until you log out and back into the game.
- In the tutorial for this quest, the Hooded Figure will not appear during the quest step 'Talk to the Hooded Figure' until you log out and back in or you change zones.
- Ebonheart Pact : Davon's Watch
- Daggerfall Covenant : Daggerfall
- Aldmeri Dominion : Vulkhel Guard
Once there you will need to speak with the 'Hooded Figure' NPC and that will get you started on the main story quest, 'Soul Shriven in Coldharbour'.
- Aldmeri Dominion: Khenarthi's Roost
- Daggerfall Covenant: Stros M'Kai
- Ebonheart Pact: Bleakrock Isle
- Type /reloadui in the command line of the Chat Box.
- Try performing a soft reset by logging out of the game and launcher completely for at least 15 minutes.
- This will reset your character's instance information and may cause quest NPCs to work properly.
If the above steps fail to resolve the issue:
- Submit a /bug in game to report the issue
- Start a new character and see if the issue occurs on the new character.
- If it does, submit a ticket to Customer Support with the following information:
- What character(s) is this happening on?
- When did it first occur?
- What step in the quest did the issue happen on?
